Health literacy enables individuals and communities to obtain, communicate, process and understand basic health information and services to make appropriate health decisions.

EGH works with communities to increase health literacy levels by providing  information on various health topics.

• We conduct needs assessments of clients’ health concerns

• Conduct classes and facilitate conversations on various health topics..

• We may utilize language interpreters to support communities of diverse language and cultural backgrounds

• We evaluate the program for continuous improvement
