EGH works with communities to increase health literacy levels by providing information on various health topics.
We conduct classes using didactic and participatory approaches. We facilitate conversations on various health topics.
Topics We Cover
- Cancer screening and awareness
- Addictions awareness and prevention, including alcohol, drugs, gambling, and tobacco
- Social and mental wellness, including stress management, depression and anxiety, suicide awareness, and family violence awareness
- Promotion of healthy lifestyles, including nutrition, physical activity, and weight management
Health Awareness Campaigns
We conduct Health Awareness Campaigns where we provide health information sessions, distribute health information, and collaborate with other health and social services providers.
