Montana First Nation
Montana First Nation partners with Engage Global Health to advance self-governance, cultural preservation, and accessible, community-driven health services.

Located 90 km south of Edmonton, Montana First Nation is the smallest of the “Four Nations of Hobbema” and is committed to building sovereignty, preserving Cree culture, and empowering its members. Through the Montana Integrated Services Department (MISD), the Nation provides a wide range of supports–including health, education, employment, and elder and youth services–under one umbrella. Montana First Nation’s vision is rooted in self-governance, cultural continuity, and community wellbeing. Engage Global Health partners with the Nation to strengthen accessible, culturally relevant health services and advance shared goals of equity and sustainable development.
