Africa Centre, a partner of Engage Global Health, is a charitable organization dedicated to empowering African-descent communities in Alberta. Through culturally grounded programming—including youth leadership, childcare, seniors’ engagement, gender equity, economic and entrepreneurial development, counselling, and scholarships—it promotes full participation in all aspects of society. The Centre has delivered impactful services such as over $390,000 in scholarships, 600+ hours of youth job-readiness training, 1,300+ culturally inclusive food hampers, and serves over 1,000 clients.
